Today I did some shopping. I went to kohl's and got a really cool outfit. Later I went to Hot Topic, and when I walked in I saw some of my friends there. It was pretty cool. Then I got 2 shirts. One with Castiel and one with Sailor Moon's heart thingy on the front. I also bought 2 pins. A ouija board one and a British flag. Not only did I get a great deal, but then my favorite song started playing. It was a really great trip. Tomorrow is work week. I am pretty excited.

Lazy Lazy Summer

So I haven't had anything really interesting happen to me since Work Days. I got my mom hooked on Sherlock. She's only on episode 2. I also went to the mall  yesterday. I freaked out when I saw a Supernatural shirt I want to get. At the mall I got a bracelet of skull beads and I can't decide if it reminds me more of Sherlock or Supernatural. I wore my Pinkie Pie/LotR shirt to the mall that day and some guy pointed at me in the food court and shouted "YES!" I noted that he was wearing a shirt with a Nightmare Moon shirt. I hollered back "Thanks! I like your shirt too" I could see that he raved to his friends about how it was for older kids too as though it had been an issue brought up before. On a different note, I have gotten myself back into gaming. I played both Animal Crossing: City Folk and Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. I am just one honeydew away from getting the last rainbow in Harvest Moon. I'm on year 3 because I focused on getting married first. I am married to Luke if you were wondering. I have a deep unhealthy love for Luke. I wish he were a person in real life. It's a real problem.

I'm in the airport and it's really cool. It's like a mall in here! I got to go to the Body Shop and the iStore. The guy in the iStore was kinda flirty. Hmmm. *Shifty eyes*
So we got some candy. I got some some sort of like "Chunky Kit Kat" I am excited. It's just like thicker or something. I don't really know what else to say right now so... yeah. Bye!

Being the Queen is Scary Shiz

So today was kinda like freshman orientation for theatre kids. I got to kinda help host. My advice I gave was if you don't get every part, don't go crazy and dye your hair blue. It's funny because my hair is currently blue. I got the whole crowd laughing. That was the best part. I was sweating like a cactus the whole time. Ugh. Yeah and the strangest part was my younger friends were actually asking me questions and surrounding me and I felt like a god. It was really nerve wracking. I felt like I came off really cocky, like 'Hey look at me. I am a wise old sage and know everything, which I do not.' Then someone tried to get in an argument with me about if Sherlock or Elementary is better when we all know that Sherlock is CLEARLY better. Watson can't be a girl. Like what? That's cray. They wouldn't let down either. I finally said agree to disagree, though they still went on. I still know in my heart that Sherlock is better. He did take me on an adventure remember. Also all of my incoming fishies are absolutely certain that Belle is the best princess when we all know it's Ariel. She can go on land AND sea. I'd like to see Belle try that. Okay sorry, bitter. So yeah, people liked my hair. That was cool. I guess that was it. I was kinda awkie taki the whole time but you know... school events.
On Friday I fly to the magical land of corn and old folks called Iowa. See ya!

I've Gone Mad I Guess

~*Dream Blog*~ So last night I dreamed about going on adventures with Sherlock and John and it was the best dream I have had in some time. Me and John would casually be joking about scarves and nonsense and then just be like 'Woah wear's our detective?' Sherlock would turn around dressed in a security guard's uniform. Then there was this other time when for whatever reason, whilst I was talking, Sherlock blurts out 'A Barbie-land, that's it!' and I was like 'OMG I just helped Sherlock solve a case OMG.' That was the weirdest part. There was a lot of other general tomfoolery and it was overall just the best dream ever.

Callbacks!!

Today the callback list for Rumors was posted. I finally got a callback for a teacher directed show!! That's the first step! That makes me really excited. A lot of people wrote about it in my yearbook. I have a lot of competition though so that worries me. I'm not really expecting a role. I am just happy to be offered the opportunity to give it a shot. I suppose that is all for now. Ciao!

Things High School Has Taught Me

• You will never get enough sleep. Even if you take naps.
• Theatre may not be like what you first expect, but it's the best thing you will ever know.
• You should always try on your work, projects, and tests, but you won't always get an A.
• It's ok to have nights where you stay up all night and watch Sherlock Big Bang Theory your favorite show. Especially when it's raining.
• Baths fix everything.
• Be yourself. Someone will come.
• It's okay to use fandoms as a source of comfort. If it makes you happy and doesn't harm anyone- what could be wrong?
• Writing, acting, and reading are the best ways to "get away from it all."
• You can't make someone like you.
• It's okay to have sugary drinks in moderation, but water is always there. But eat as much candy as your heart desires.
• Study all you want, what really matters is listening in class.
• Stick with your friends that you know are there, not the ones you're unsure about.
• No matter how much you think "that should be me" it's not gonna make anything change. You've gotta make change yourself. Sometimes, there's nothing you can do, and that's one of the hardest things to accept.

Guys I'm Crying.

So I just got out of show circle. I cried. I NEVER cry ever. Particularly not in show circles. My gawd. It was awful and amazing at the same time. Feels. What are those.

I can honestly say, I could not have asked for a more perfect night. Check Please! has been the most amazing experience I can think of. I got to know the most extraordinary people and really grow as an actor.
”If you were older and taller” has been swirling around in my head for hours. Being kissed on the forehead… tonight was very strange. Surreal. Perfect. I laughed, cried and nearly died. Being someone’s favorite freshman. What even. Coming into the cast of Check Please… a student direct… I had no idea. I got to know the most extraordinary people, play the most amazing characters. I wish I could thank each of my cast members personally. Check Please is my favorite show I’ve been in so far. Thanks everyone... for everything.

Second Show Night

So the audience was amazing tonight. They laughed at everything even if it wasn't funny. I actually did all of my lines correctly, and the only bad thing that happened was at the end, my bouquet got caught on my dress. It wasn't a huge deal though. My friends that came to see me were all juniors. Awk. My big buddy JK. said he was so proud of me. AM. said I was really good. My friend NB. sent me a candy-gram.  It was a really great night!
I couldn't be happier. I am really gonna miss Mary (my character). She is my best friend. I liked being Melanie too, but Mary is my spirit animal. Check Please has to be my favorite show I have been in so far.

HOLY JESUS IN HEAVEN ABOVE

GUYS I HAVE BEEN TYPING IN ALL CAPS FOR THE PAST HALF HOUR. I'm the top picture on the school newspaper. SO during show circle. C. told me that I was the ONLY one who was at every single rehearsal regardless, and that I was the one ring. Someone else went around the circle and described each person in one word. I was Middle-Earth. Tonight turned out to be really great. I even got flowers from my aunt/uncle.

I'm a Rising Star

So today we had play previews. I had to change clothes 19 times today. I did my full Mary scene 6 times. At the end of the day, Caleb told me that at least one person from each class wanted to see more of me. I was like "No way. seriously?" He nodded. I ran into the dressing room and screamed into my sleeping bag. It was the best feeling ever. They liike me. They really like me. After that, Travis... the senior who gets cast in every show, told me my comedy was brilliant. IS THIS REAL LIFE?! Also I helped to choreograph some of my curtain call and it is adorable. I am really bouncing off the walls on the inside. Tomorrow is the show. I can't wait!!

Growing

So I have been having a lot of fun in rehearsals. Saturdays are the best. Yesterday we had a ton of fun. We went to Chick-fil-a and all wore our little paper hats they give you. Then we played those stupid games that you have to figure out the answer to. We went back to the school, but first Caleb had to stop by his house so he could visit his god mother for 10 minutes. When we got back to school, I had to watch football movies until I could learn to scream/yell properly. Welp, I guess that's all. Toodles

Aww Man. Rehearsal During 4 Day Weekend

Well not much is new. I got new shoes Monday. They are high heel converse. We only had a three day week but, we have rehearsal over the break. That makes me sad. Then we have exams on Monday and Tuesday. I don't have much to say, I just haven't blogged in a while.

Good Afternoon Fellow Potatoes

So I've been very "busy" the past few days working on my new tumblr Rosie-wears-ribbons. I went shopping today. I saw a ring I really wanted that looked like a wizard staff curled into a ring. It was just my size too! It was too expensive though. I did get some home made chocolate cheesecake lip balm. Later we went to the movies and saw Oz. It was really cute. I thought the actor who played Oz was a little weak. Really wasn't thrilled with the acting at some points. Most of the movie was lovely though. Last bad critique, am I the only one who thought Glinda's crown looked slightly plastic? I really like the movie. It was brilliant. I just get critical sometimes... Sorry. Anyways so I think that's it for now. TTFN
